Terms & Conditions
Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:
- "Site" means the website operated under the domain doubleu-au.com, also referred to as Doubleu, which provides informational and review content in relation to social casino games offered by third parties.
- "Operator", "we", "us", "our" means the entity or entities responsible for operating and administering the Site and its content. The Site is an independent review and information service and is not a gambling operator. References within these Terms to DoubleU Games Co., Ltd. and its websites such as doubleugames.com are for informational context only and do not create an operator - player relationship between you and DoubleU Games Co., Ltd.
- "User", "you", "your" means any natural person who accesses, browses or uses the Site, whether or not they create any form of account or interact with third-party services to which the Site may refer.
- "Player" means a User who chooses to access and/or play the social casino games or related applications offered by third-party operators (including, without limitation, DoubleU Casino provided by DoubleU Games Co., Ltd.) through platforms such as the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Facebook, or other distribution channels. The contractual relationship for such gameplay is between the Player and the relevant third-party operator, not with the Operator of this Site.
- "Social Casino" means games and applications, including "DoubleU Casino", which simulate casino-style gameplay using virtual credits, chips, coins or other virtual items that do not have real-money value, cannot be redeemed for cash or counterpart value, and are played purely for entertainment and social interaction. In the Australian context, such social casino activities are generally not regulated as gambling under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 (Cth) because no real-money winnings are awarded.
- "Virtual Goods" means virtual credits, coins, chips or in-game items that may be purchased or obtained within a social casino or associated app, have no intrinsic monetary value, are not legal tender, are non-transferable (except as permitted by the game rules) and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other item of real-world value.
- "Bet" means, for the limited purposes of these Terms, any stake, spin, wager or similar in-game action that you may place within a social casino environment using Virtual Goods. Such actions are undertaken solely within third-party applications and are illustrative only; no real-money bets are accepted or processed via the Site.
- "Wager" has the same meaning as "Bet" and refers to the act of risking Virtual Goods within a social casino game for the possibility of achieving an in-game outcome, such as additional Virtual Goods or virtual status rewards, and never real-money returns.
- "Bonus" means any promotional allocation of Virtual Goods, free spins, or similar benefits within a social casino game environment, whether granted by the third-party operator or referenced in the Site's informational content. Bonuses described on the Site are informational only; any legal and contractual conditions attaching to such bonuses are established solely by the relevant third-party operator.
- "Third-Party Services" means websites, applications, platforms and services not operated by us, including but not limited to doubleucasino.com, doubleugames.com, app stores, social networks (such as Facebook), payment processors and analytics providers.
- "Content" means all text, graphics, images, audio-visual materials, design elements, software, data and any other materials provided on or via the Site, including reviews, guides, rankings, legal summaries and informational notices.
- "Australian Law" means the laws in force in the Commonwealth of Australia, including without limitation the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 (Cth), the Australian Consumer Law contained in Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), and applicable State and Territory laws related to consumer protection, privacy and digital services.
Account Registration
The Site may be accessible without registration. However, certain functionalities (such as newsletters, commenting, personalised settings or saving preferences, if enabled) may require you to create a user profile or otherwise provide personal details. The following rules apply to any form of registration or account creation associated with the Site, and complement any registration processes involved when you interact with third-party social casino operators.
Eligibility and Age Requirements
- Minimum age: The Site is intended for persons aged 18 years or over. By accessing or using the Site, you warrant that:
- you are at least 18 years old; and
- you have full legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under the laws of your place of residence, including Australian Law if you access the Site from Australia.
- Australian context: While social casino games reviewed on the Site do not provide real-money gambling, they simulate gambling-style experiences. Access by minors may therefore be inappropriate. You agree to take reasonable steps to prevent minors from accessing the Site or any social casino services via your devices or accounts.
- Verification: We reserve the right (but are not obliged) to request evidence of your age or identity where necessary to comply with applicable law or internal risk policies. Failure to provide requested information may result in restriction or termination of your use of any account-related features on the Site.

- submit a valid email address and create a password;
- confirm your email address via a verification link;
- provide certain optional or mandatory profile details (such as display name); and
- accept these Terms and any applicable privacy notices.
- KYC and identity checks: We do not operate real-money gambling services through the Site and therefore do not usually conduct full "Know Your Customer" (KYC) checks. However, if required by law, to prevent misuse, or to respond to regulatory or law enforcement requests (including in Australia or South Korea), we may:
- request government-issued identification;
- request proof of address; or
- take other reasonable steps to confirm your identity and age.
- Third-party accounts: When creating or using accounts with third-party social casino operators (such as via doubleucasino.com, app stores or Facebook), you are subject to the terms, privacy policies and KYC processes of the relevant third-party operator. We are not responsible for those processes or their outcomes.
User Obligations
- Accuracy of data: You agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information when registering or updating your details on the Site, and to promptly update such information if it changes.
- Password security: You are solely responsible for:
- maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
- restricting access to your devices and accounts; and
- immediately notifying us at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account or a security breach.
- One account per person: We may limit you to one account per natural person for Site-related services, and may suspend or terminate duplicate or suspected fraudulent accounts.
- Compliance: You agree to comply at all times with:
- these Terms;
- all applicable Australian Laws and any laws of your place of residence; and
- any rules, terms and conditions imposed by third-party platforms you access via the Site.
Betting & Gameplay Rules
The Site itself does not host real-money gambling services, accept real-money bets or process wagers. Any gameplay, betting or wagering described on the Site relates to social casino games using Virtual Goods only. Nevertheless, to ensure responsible use of the Site and clarity of expectations, the following principles apply.
Nature of Bets and Gameplay
- Virtual-only environment: All references to "bets", "wagers", "spins" and "stakes" in our Content:
- refer to in-game actions within third-party social casino games;
- involve only Virtual Goods with no cash-out or monetary value; and
- do not constitute gambling as defined under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 (Cth), to the best of our understanding as at 2026.
- No real-money bets on the Site: You cannot place any real-money bets, wagers or deposits directly on or through doubleu-au.com. Any payment, if applicable, is made directly to third-party operators and subject to their terms and policies.
- Information only: Any minimum or maximum bet sizes, payout tables, game mechanics or rules described on the Site are provided for informational and review purposes only and may change at any time by the relevant third-party operator.
Placing Bets and Use of Virtual Goods
- Third-party rules: When you play a social casino game such as DoubleU Casino, the applicable rules for:
- minimum and maximum Virtual Goods stakes;
- game types and features;
- in-game purchases and Virtual Goods management; and
- bonuses and promotions,
- Irreversibility: Once a bet or in-game action is confirmed within a social casino game, it may not be cancelled or modified unless expressly permitted by the game's rules or the third-party operator's policies.
- Local restrictions: Some features or games described on the Site may not be available in all Australian States and Territories or in all countries. Access may be blocked or restricted by app stores, platforms, network providers or regulatory requirements.
Conduct in Live Features, Chats and Social Interactions
- Respectful behaviour: If you participate in any interactive feature associated with the Site or third-party games (including chats, comments, forums or in-game messaging), you must:
- refrain from abusive, defamatory, discriminatory or hateful language;
- not harass, threaten or bully other users;
- not promote violence, self-harm or any illegal activity; and
- not impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.
- Prohibition of fraud and manipulation: You must not:
- use bots, scripts, cheats or automated tools to influence game outcomes;
- exploit bugs, loopholes or errors in games or on the Site;
- engage in chip-dumping, collusion or any coordinated behaviour intended to gain an unfair advantage; or
- attempt to sell, trade, transfer or cash out accounts or Virtual Goods in violation of third-party rules.
- Moderation and reporting: We may moderate or remove content posted on the Site, and may cooperate with third-party operators or law enforcement agencies where we reasonably suspect:
- fraudulent activity;
- threats to the safety or rights of others; or
- breaches of Australian Law or these Terms.
Bonus Terms
The Site may describe, compare or review bonuses, promotions or in-game offers made available by third-party social casino operators. The Site itself does not issue or administer such bonuses unless explicitly stated. Any Bonus is subject strictly to the third-party operator's own terms and conditions; the following provisions are provided to clarify your responsibilities and our limitations.
Activation and Eligibility
- Third-party control: Bonus offers, welcome packages, daily rewards, loyalty benefits and promotional codes referenced on the Site are:
- created and managed exclusively by third-party operators;
- subject to change, suspension or withdrawal at any time; and
- governed by the specific bonus terms published by the relevant operator at the time of your participation.
- Activation requirements: To activate a Bonus in a social casino game, you may be required by the third-party operator to:
- log in or create an account;
- enter a bonus code or follow a promotional link;
- make an in-app purchase or fulfil other qualifying actions; and
- meet geographic or age eligibility criteria (e.g. being an adult Australian resident).
- Informational only: We take reasonable steps to keep bonus descriptions up to date as at 2026, but we do not guarantee:
- availability or continuity of any particular Bonus; or
- the accuracy of any third-party terms or marketing communications.
Wagering Requirements and Timeframes
- Virtual wagering: Where wagering requirements are mentioned in relation to Bonuses (e.g. needing to "play through" a certain number of times), such requirements:
- relate only to Virtual Goods and in-game progression;
- do not involve real-money stakes or cash-out conditions; and
- are determined by the third-party operator's internal game economy.
- Expiry: Bonuses may have:
- fixed validity periods;
- daily or weekly reset cycles; or
- event-based or seasonal expiry conditions,
Prohibited Games, Actions and Bonus Abuse
- Restrictions: Some Bonuses may be restricted to specific game types, features or bet ranges. Attempting to:
- use Bonuses in prohibited games;
- bypass technical restrictions; or
- engage in repetitive, high-risk or exploitative play patterns,
- Bonus abuse: Behaviour such as:
- creating multiple accounts;
- using VPNs to circumvent geo-restrictions; or
- coordinating with others to manipulate promotional outcomes,
Combining Promotions
- Non-cumulative offers: The ability to combine different promotions or Bonuses (e.g. welcome offers plus loyalty rewards) is determined solely by the third-party operator. Unless expressly stated in the operator's terms, promotions should not be assumed to be cumulative.
- Conflicts and precedence: Where the Site's description of a Bonus conflicts with the operator's official terms, the operator's official terms and conditions prevail.
Payments & Withdrawals
The Site does not process or hold user funds, and does not offer withdrawals or cash-outs. However, you may choose to make purchases of Virtual Goods or other services directly through third-party social casino operators or app stores. The following clauses clarify our role and your responsibilities.
Deposit and Purchase Methods
- Third-party processing: Any payment methods (including credit/debit cards, e-wallets, mobile billing, or other digital payment options) used to purchase Virtual Goods in social casino games:
- are offered and processed by third-party operators or app stores; and
- are governed by their respective terms, privacy policies and security standards.
- Cryptocurrencies: If cryptocurrencies are accepted by any third-party operator, such acceptance is entirely under their control. The Site neither facilitates nor intermediates such transactions.
- Limits and fees: Deposit or purchase limits, applicable fees, foreign exchange charges and taxes are determined by:
- your chosen payment provider;
- the game operator; and
- any applicable Australian or international financial regulations.
Withdrawals and No Cash-Out Principle
- No monetary withdrawals: Social casino games reviewed on the Site, such as DoubleU Casino, are designed so that:
- Virtual Goods cannot be redeemed for money, prizes or any item of monetary value; and
- no withdrawals or cash-outs of Virtual Goods are available.
- No financial services: The Operator of the Site does not:
- hold any client funds;
- provide financial or investment products;
- offer money remittance or stored value facilities; or
- lend or advance money for gambling or any other purpose.
Refunds and Chargebacks
- Refunds by third parties: Any request for a refund of in-app purchases or Virtual Goods must be made directly to the relevant third-party operator, app store or payment provider in accordance with their refund policies and applicable Australian consumer protection laws.
- Impact of chargebacks: Initiating a chargeback or reversal of a payment may lead the third-party operator to:
- remove Virtual Goods obtained through that transaction;
- suspend or close associated game accounts; or
- record the event in internal risk databases.
- Bonuses and refunds: If a refund is granted in relation to a purchase that triggered or contributed to a Bonus, the third-party operator may:
- cancel or adjust the relevant Bonus;
- deduct associated Virtual Goods from your in-game balance; or
- revise your loyalty or progression status.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other non-excludable statutory guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that qualification, the following limitations apply.
Operator Obligations and Fairness
- Provision of informational services: We aim to:
- provide accurate, up-to-date, and balanced information and reviews about social casino games accessible to Australian users as at 2026;
- describe the general legal and regulatory context of social casino gaming under Australian Law; and
- maintain the security and availability of the Site in accordance with reasonable industry standards.
- No guarantee of completeness: Our Content is for general information purposes only and does not constitute:
- legal advice;
- financial or investment advice; or
- an offer or invitation to engage in gambling.
Exclusions of Liability
- Technical issues: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from:
- technical failures, interruptions, delays or errors affecting the Site;
- incompatibility of the Site with your device or software;
- viruses, malware, or other harmful components, except to the extent caused by our failure to exercise reasonable care; or
- failures or malfunctions of Third-Party Services, networks or platforms (including app stores and social networks).
- Third-party content and services: We are not responsible for:
- the availability, accuracy or security of any third-party websites or applications, including doubleugames.com and doubleucasino.com;
- the conduct, terms or privacy practices of third-party operators; or
- any transactions, disputes or losses arising between you and any third-party operator or payment provider.
- Indirect and consequential loss: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for:
- indirect, special or consequential loss or damage;
- loss of profits, revenue, opportunities or data; and
- emotional distress or alleged "losses" of Virtual Goods (which have no monetary value),
Maximum Liability
- Cap on damages: Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited under Australian Law, our aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with the Site and these Terms:
- is limited, at our option, to the resupply of the services or the cost of resupplying the services; and
- will in no event exceed the greater of AUD 50 or the equivalent of any amounts (if any) you have paid directly to us for access to premium Site services during the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
- Virtual Goods benchmark: For the avoidance of doubt, because the Site does not accept bets, the reference point of "not exceeding the amount of the bet" is understood here as "not exceeding any amount paid directly to us (if any) for Site-specific services", and never relates to amounts spent with third-party operators on Virtual Goods.
Intellectual Property Rights
Ownership of Site Content
- Our rights: Except where otherwise stated, all intellectual property rights in the Site and its Content (including text, graphics, logos, design, layout and underlying software) are owned by or licensed to the Operator and are protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws.
- Third-party IP: Names, logos, and trade marks of third parties (including "DoubleU", "DoubleU Casino", "DoubleU Games Co., Ltd." and related marks) are used for identification and descriptive purposes only. All such rights remain with their respective owners, and no affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement should be inferred unless expressly stated.

- your personal, non-commercial information and entertainment; and
- lawful purposes consistent with these Terms.

- copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate or create derivative works from the Site or its Content;
- distribute, transmit, publish, display, sell, license, or otherwise exploit any Content for commercial purposes;
- decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of any software used in connection with the Site, except to the limited extent permitted by non-excludable law; or
- remove, obscure or alter any copyright, trade mark or other proprietary notices on the Site.
User-Generated Content
- Licence grant: If the Site allows you to submit comments, reviews or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable and sub-licensable licence to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate and display such content in connection with the operation, promotion and improvement of the Site.
- Warranties: You warrant that any content you submit:
- is your original work or you have all necessary rights to submit it;
- does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy or other rights; and

- Privacy policy reference: Detailed information about how DoubleU Games Co., Ltd. manages personal data in relation to its products is available at https://doubleugames.com/privacy. Where we provide links or references to that policy, it is for informational context regarding the underlying social casino products reviewed on the Site.

- basic contact details you provide (such as email addresses for support or newsletters); and
- log data, usage analytics and cookies or similar technologies to improve the Site and comply with security and legal obligations.
- Consent and rights: By using the Site you consent to the processing of your personal information in accordance with the privacy notices made available on or via the Site. Changes to Terms
Modification Process
- Right to amend: We may amend, update or replace these Terms at any time to:
- reflect changes in Australian Law or regulatory guidance (including developments related to the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 (Cth));
- take account of new features, services or partnerships; or
- address security, technical or business needs.
- Effective date: Unless otherwise stated, amendments become effective upon publication of the updated Terms on the Site with a revised "effective date". We aim to ensure all material updates made up to and including 2026 are clearly indicated.
User Notification and Acceptance
- Notification methods: For material changes, we may also:
- display a prominent banner or pop-up notice on the Site; and/or
- send an email notification to the address you have provided, where such functionality exists.
- Continued use: By continuing to access or use the Site after updated Terms have taken effect, you are deemed to have accepted the changes. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must discontinue use of the Site and, where applicable, close any Site-related accounts.
Termination & Suspension
Grounds for Suspension or Termination
- By us: We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or any associated account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that:
- you have breached these Terms or any applicable law (including Australian Law);
- you have engaged in fraud, abuse, harassment, or behaviour that may harm other users, third-party operators or our reputation;
- your account is being used for unauthorised or unlawful purposes; or
- continued access would expose us to legal, regulatory or security risk.
- By you: You may discontinue use of the Site at any time. If we provide account functionality, you may request closure of your account by contacting us at [email protected].
Effects of Termination
- Access revocation: Upon suspension or termination:
- your right to access the Site or certain features ceases immediately; and
- we may deactivate or delete your account and data in accordance with our data retention obligations and privacy practices.
- No impact on third-party accounts: Termination of your access to the Site does not automatically affect:
- your accounts with third-party operators; or
- your rights and obligations under their terms of service.
- Refunds: Because the Site does not accept deposits or hold funds, we do not provide refunds in relation to the termination of Site access. Any refunds for in-app purchases of Virtual Goods remain subject to the policies of the relevant third-party operator or app store.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
Applicable Law
- Australian focus: These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the Site, are governed by the laws in force in the State of New South Wales, Australia, and by applicable Commonwealth legislation, including the Australian Consumer Law, to the extent relevant.
- Cross-border context: The Site may describe products operated by entities incorporated in other jurisdictions (including South Korea, where DoubleU Games Co., Ltd. is registered in Seoul). Such references do not displace the choice of Australian Law as governing your relationship with the Operator of the Site.
Dispute Resolution
- Informal resolution: If you have any concern or dispute relating to the Site or these Terms, you agree to first contact us at [email protected] and allow us a reasonable opportunity (typically up to 30 days) to respond and attempt to resolve the matter informally.
- Court proceedings: Subject to any mandatory dispute resolution process under Australian Law, you and we irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia, and any courts of appeal from those courts, with respect to any legal action or proceeding arising under or in connection with these Terms.
- Consumer protections: Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law to bring a claim in a competent court or tribunal, or to seek assistance from governmental consumer protection bodies.
